Animal charm cannot be denied. Dog lovers are passionate about their pets. If someone likes Dalmatians, you can bet they will soon have a collection of Dalmatian dog charms. Whether it's to show others the particular breed you are fond of, or just to express a general love of dogs, dog charms come in many types, shapes and sizes to suit a dog lover's many expressions.
We get a lot of compliments on our charm dog jewelry. People love our Dog Lovers silver-plated hand enameled charm bracelet, with its bright red polished Czech beads. The red beads match the red doghouse and red fire hydrant charms that make up the piece. (People usually smile and dip a finger in the miniature rendition of a doggie bowl with Top Dog engraved into the sides.) Our Hot Pink Poodle bracelet is fun, too.
Still, if you want to make your own charm dog jewelry we have everything you need. Check out our findings page for an assortment of bracelets, from watchband styles to chained and beaded versions. Most of our selections come with 6 split rings for attaching your choice of charms to. As your charm collection grows, so will your need for jump rings and split rings. There are 144 to a package.
Attaching a charm is quite easy with the right tools. Two tools that come on quite handy are needle nose pliers and tweezers. To open a jump ring hold one of each tool on either side of the opening. Hold one side while pulling on the other to open the jump ring. Once you've added the charm close the jump ring in the same way. Try and have the ring ends meet neatly for a clean look. Once you've done this a few times you'll find it becomes easier. Don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to make more jewelry.
